I received a call from this number yesterday and it was an Indian man who asked if I was... (my full name), I said yes and he hung up. As he was asking me, I was getting a call from China.

I looked up this number and it says it is VoIP # in Decker, CO., but further digging showed it to be a non-fixed VoIP, they are untraceable and disposable and meaning it could be anywhere.

Indian man called office asking for a coworker. Said he was calling from Dr. Brown's Clinic. He asked for her voicemail when I said she was not available. Then he said there was no call back number for me to give her and hung up. Very noisy background like a call center.

Same experience. Man with thick accent called from CO 303-647-9531, asked for me by name, I acknowledged, and he then just hung up. Called back from Unavailable 300 and hung up again.

Had the same experience here at work, as all of the other above. What is weird is while I was on one call, another call came in asking the same thing and then right when I hung up a 3rd call came in. Really, what is the point of these calls?! One guy said they had documents for me and hung up, while the opthers just hung up on me. Same Indian guy w accent

I have had the same experience as listed above. A gentleman with a very heavy indian accent told the receptionist he had medical documents for me and then when he was transferred, he asked is this First Last? I NEVER respond with YES ... so, I asked "who's calling" at which time he hung up on me.

Not sure what the scam is, but it seems to be one.

This number called my place of business asking for my boss. It was very difficult to understand the man and then I detected an Indian accent. When he finished spelling his name, I asked the nature of the call. He stated he was an old family friend of my boss's. I asked for his number and he gives me 212-424-6943. I guess he forgot or didn't realize that businesses can have caller i.d. too! Boss confirmed he doesn't know this person!

Received call from this # at my place of employment...foreign man asked me if I was Sherry XXXX, I replied, "yes, how can I help you?". Man hung up. When attempting to call the number back repeatedly, it rings, then goes completely silent for a few seconds, then disconnects. Morons.

Received call at my place of business - Indian man asked for me by name. When I confirmed my name and asked what this is about, he hung up. I tried calling the number several times but received a busy signal each time.

Some man called and hard to understand, sounded like he was from India. Asking for someone, since I couldn't understand he started spelling the name. I told him they no longer work here and thought I said they left the country. I then proceeded to hang up. He attempted to call back 4 other times.

had the exact same thing happen he called directly into our corporate office one of my co-workers answered, he asked for me by my first and last name she transferred him and he had a very thick India accent asked me by name I said yes whom am I speaking with he asked again, I got irritated and said yes who is this and he h/u. Be cautions I am sure this some kind of scam whether it is to find out where you work and see if they can get your information through the company computers or what.

Have been having various phone calls lately, finally decided to look this number up. It is an Indian guy always asking for various people that work here. Some names I know work with us others have no clue who they are. I usually get 3 or 4 calls right in a row all from different numbers and I know it's the same guy calling every time. It's getting really annoying, he's very persistent.

Please realize that when a scammer asks if you are so and so.... and you reply, "YES".... the reason they hang up is that the "yes " is all they need to use to bill you for some product or expensive course or what ever... as if you approved it ! To avoid this, if some one calls and asks if this is (name), say "NO", or "How can I help you?".... no matter how many times they repeat it (and they will), don't say yes.
